Italian legend striker Paolo Rossi died at the age of 64.
Rossi was found dead on Saturday, according to a report by Italian broadcaster RAI. The exact cause of death has yet to be determined.
Rossi is a legendary striker who led Italy to victory in the 1982 World Cup in Spain, winning the scoring title with six goals. In particular, Rossi scored a hat trick in the 1982 World Cup, contributing crucial to Italy’s 3-2 victory over Brazil. Rossi also scored a goal in the final match against West Germany, which won 3-1, contributing to the victory.
