Wrist 3cm, burn scar removal concern (10-year-old scar)
Q: I’m a woman in my mid-30s. There is a burn scar about 2~3cm above the wrist. It’s a small round shape, and it’s been about 10 years since the scar was formed.
I want to get rid of this scar, but will it be gone if I get surgery?
A: Scars removal can reduce scarring and make it less visible than before. However, it is not possible to remove the burn scar completely.
If you have a big scar, you will have two surgeries every six months.
