Papa Johns sells ‘Snowball Pizza’ only in winter
Papa Johns Korea announced on the 30th that it will introduce the season menu “Snowball Pizza” at stores nationwide on the 1st of next month for winter and sell it for a limited period of three months.
Snowball Pizza is a special menu with a spicy meatball on top of a tomato sauce base and a thick cream and cheese sauce. Meatballs and white cream and cheese sauce with round appearance remind you of a landscape with snowflakes piled up, and sugar powder sprinkled on crust gives you a winter mood and adds a sweet taste.
It is a product that debuted in the winter using the recipe selected as the excellence award at the Winter Special Recipe Contest held in 2016. It has a history of re-released for three consecutive years, receiving favorable reviews for its combination of visuals that take advantage of season characteristics, light yet soft taste, and thick texture of meatballs full of meat juice. Although it is a seasonal menu sold only in winter, it will be re-introduced this year thanks to continuous customer requests.
In commemoration of the end of the year, there will also be a New Year’s calendar presentation event. Interested customers will receive a free 2023 calendar of Papa Johns Pizza if they purchase 1.25L of Coca-Cola at once along with Snowball Pizza (large size or larger). However, the number of calendars for each store is different, so it can be exhausted early.
The New Year’s calendar is a desk calendar with a pizza menu from Papa Johns Pizza. Each page has a recommended pizza menu, and a product (written illustration) designed by tactfully linking each pizza ingredient with its monthly characteristics is placed, creating a desire to own it.
